Green Bio Energy is proud to announce its continuing partnership with the Association for the Conservation of Bugoma Forest BFCC in helping with this years Run For Nature 2018 on March 25th! Starting at Destination Jungle Office in Kampala, the 5 or 10 km fundraising run will be in celebration of International Forest Day held every year on March 21st followed by a healthy, green lunch hosted by Slow Food Uganda. Green Bio Energy will be attending the event and showcasing some of our Eco-Friendly Briketi Brand clean cooking solutions to all inspired participants looking to move to a more sustainable, affordable healthy mode of cooking!
We have just attended the pre-race conference to discuss details and heard from representatives from the National Forestry Authority, the Association of Uganda Tour Operators as well as many other sponsors for the event with interests in protecting Bugoma Forest and its diverse wildlife from Governments plans to develop new Oil factories right in the center of the park. This Forest is home to a wide variety of birds, mammals and plant life and it is our job to promote its health and growth for a clean, green Uganda! Just Last month Green Bio Energy was honored to attend the East Africa Energy and Infrastructure, & Off Grid Summits at the Serena Hotel in downtown Kampala! We were pleased to join the top investors, producers and distributors of sustainable energy solutions in East Africa to discuss this years ambitions and hear about other actor's experiences and opinions from years in the field. But especially, to discuss partnerships and means of development through collaboration across all parties in the pursuit of East Africa's green future.
